TikMate respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects its users to do the same. This policy explains our position on copyright and how to report infringement.

Our role

TikMate is an automated tool that retrieves publicly available media from a link supplied by the user. We do not host, store, or upload any videos, audio or images on our servers. All content belongs to its original creators and rights holders.

User responsibility

Users are solely responsible for the content they choose to download and how they use it. Downloading content you do not own without the rights holder's permission may infringe copyright. Only download content that you own, that is in the public domain, or that you have permission to use.

Submitting a takedown notice

If you are a copyright owner (or authorised agent) and believe the Service has been used to infringe your rights, please send a notice to dmca@tikmate.org including:

Your full name and contact information.
Identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed.
The specific URL(s) or description of the material in question.
A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorised by the owner, its agent, or the law.
A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the owner or authorised to act on the owner's behalf.
Your physical or electronic signature.

Our response

We review valid notices promptly and will take appropriate action, which may include blocking access to the identified material through the Service where technically applicable.

Counter-notice

If you believe your content was wrongly targeted, you may submit a counter-notice to the same address with equivalent detail.
